Months after James O Connor Fields confirmed Turner’s casting in Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s Prime Video adaptation of Tomb Raider, the streaming platform released images of her full transformation.

“I’ve been a long-time fan of Tomb Raider and the character of Lara,” Turner said in a 2025 statement after the casting news broke. “They’re massive shoes to fill, following in the steps of Angelina and Alicia with their powerhouse performances, but with Phoebe at the helm, we (and Lara) are all in very safe hands.”
