A hit-and-run on the night of Dec. 19 left a 50-year-old man dead in Philadelphia’s Cobbs Creek neighborhood.

The incident occurred shortly after midnight along the 100 block of South Cobbs Creek Parkway. A man who appeared to be under the influence was sitting in the middle of the street. When he tried to stand, a white car heading south on Cobbs Creek Parkway struck him and then fled the scene.
