At about 8:56 p.m. on Dec. 19, the accident took place at the intersection of Whitaker Avenue and Wyoming Avenue. The victim, who has not been identified, was crossing a marked crosswalk on Wyoming Avenue when a vehicle traveling northbound on Whitaker Avenue struck her.

Police identified the car as a 2012 white Infiniti M37. After the collision, the driver glanced at the victim before driving northbound and leaving the scene.
