First Robbery in Cherryville

On September 10, 2025, around 1:17 am, Lehigh Township police rushed to Cherryville Vape and Cigar Shop at 4209 Lehigh Drive after a robbery report.

The cashier told officers that several masked men had entered the store and robbed him at gunpoint. Only one suspect was not wearing a mask.

The group stole:

  • About $300 from the cash register
  • Numerous vaping and THC products
  • The cashier’s personal phone

They also damaged the business phone. The total value of stolen merchandise was estimated at $2,300.

Surveillance cameras inside the store captured clear images of the suspects and their getaway vehicle.

Second Robbery in Allentown

Two days later, on September 12, 2025, at approximately 3:37 am, Allentown police responded to Smoke Mania at 2733 West Emmaus Avenue for another armed robbery.

The cashier reported that four men had robbed him at gunpoint. Exterior surveillance footage showed the same vehicle that had been used in the Cherryville robbery.

Traffic Stop and Arrests

Later that same day, around 9:50 pm, Pennsylvania State Police spotted the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop.

Inside the car officers found:

  • Thiago Araujo-Guerrero
  • Frankelly Isabel-Ramirez
  • Branny De La Cruz-Rodriguez
  • Leonardo Henriquez-Diaz

Police obtained a search warrant for the vehicle and recovered two BB gun pistols. The guns matched the description of the weapons used in both robberies.

All four men were taken into custody and the BB guns were seized as evidence.

Evidence Links Group to First Crime

Northampton County detectives reviewed surveillance footage from both stores. They confirmed that Araujo-Guerrero, Isabel-Ramirez, De La Cruz-Rodriguez, and Henriquez-Diaz were the individuals who robbed the Cherryville Vape and Cigar Shop.

Authorities have not yet verified whether the same four men committed the Allentown robbery, though the matching vehicle and similar methods suggest a connection.

Court Proceedings Scheduled

The suspects are scheduled to be arraigned on January 16, 2026, according to prosecutors.

Key Takeaways

  • Surveillance video and vehicle tracking led to swift arrests
  • Two BB guns were recovered and linked to both crimes
  • About $2,600 in cash and merchandise was stolen in the first robbery
  • Police continue investigating the second robbery for confirmation
